Well, Christmas and Easter have gone and summer is on the way.Before Christmas I was painting in Croatia and then in January I was in Egypt. I was examining in Anatomy for the Royal College of Surgeons but I found time to sketch on the Nile and around the pyramids. Later I went to New Zealand and Malaysia armed with an easel and paints. some of the results are here on the website.
I had a lovely surprise last week when the artist and author Glyn Macey emailed to say he had seen the painting on this site, which was inspired by an article he wrote. The email was brief but encouraging.
My exhibition this summer is on Sunday June 24th. At home as usual and this year the charity is Dementia UK and Admiral Nurses in particular. The exhibition is like an open house and runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. If you need the address contact me via this site.
