Summer is finally with us!
So far this year I have not been particularly productive. This was mainly due to holidays (although I did take my sketch book) and the effort required to clear out and sell a family home in Norfolk. However things are hotting up now.
Two events have occurred. First was the publication of my book ‘Brief Tales from a Surgical life’, which is available on Amazon. This is a collection of brief stories illustrated by rough cartoons, drawn by me on an iPad. Here is the cover (designed by the publishers).
Secondly, I have joined the Medway ‘Open Studios’ event and will open my doors on Monday July 6th and Wednesday July 15th. I have not done this before so I thought just two days this year would be a good ‘taster’.
Meanwhile it is back to the studio…plenty of ideas in my head but will they become pieces of artwork? I do hope so!
