The first 6 months of the year have been quite interesting. During a holiday in Grenada i sold a sketch to an American couple from Iowa. Later, painting in Puglia, Italy, I sold a sketch to a passing policeman! As usual i sent the proceeds to a charity; in this case BREAK which is my chosen charity this year. I have also sold 2 commissions. One was a pen and ink sketch, harking back to my medical student days, of a lone rugby fullback standing under the posts. The other was a large acrylic painting of John Lynn VC. Appropriate timing given the anniversary of WW1. My exhibition will be at home in Kent on Sunday September 7th from 11am.
