The first half of 2014 has been an interesting time but perhaps not as productive as I might have liked. However I managed to sell two sketches while I was painting abroad. In Grenada I sold a sketch of the beach to an American couple from Iowa and in Squinzano, Puglia, Italy, I sold a street sketch including a policeman to the featured policeman. Only small amounts of money but I was able to send the proceeds as a donation to the charity ‘Break’, which is my selected charity for this year.
I am working on a painting of John Lynn VC, who died during the Great War. This is a work in progress but you can view the unfinished work in my gallery.

In July I will be painting in Norfolk, alongside the small art group I encourage, and I aim to hold an exhibition at home in early September.
